I can't wrap my mind around the fact that. I just can't. Today, when I should be taking down Christmas decorations, cleaning, cooking corn beef and the fixin's, I'm sitting on the couch wrapped up in a warm quilt, listening to dog's snore and watching movies with my gorgeous husband. Life is Good. Today, on the first day of 2009, I've relaxed, I've "pilled up", I've enjoyed my family. The boys and the dog got out and played in it...the dog wasn't too terribly excited about the whole idea of it...but...he hung out with them for awhile...had some great hot choc. and snow cream and vegged out for the rest of the day...by Sunday it had all melted away.<br /><br />In other news...Caleb &amp; I got to go to his very FIRST UK Game on Sunday!! Totally awesome! And.....they BEAT Florida!!! Woo-Hoo! I thought so...<br /><br />I've been in a dentist's chair...not technically the entire time..but...pretty much. Got my wisdom teeth cut out...(can you say OUCH?) Then dry sockets decided to come visit (worse than bad in-laws of which I have none Seriously) and they are still here. Hurts bad...climb the wall bad. I've been back and forth to the oral surgeon for the last couple of weeks and are on a first name basis now. Really nice folks. I'll miss them. Sorta.<br /><br />School's going well, neither of the boys play football, however, Roy and I have been going to the Friday night games here in town and having a blast. Almost feels like fall. ALMOST. Because it's still HOT...sharing some pictures of the All Star Pool Party and the boys fishin'. Good ole fun.<br /><br />Been scrappin' like crazy, yakkin' out of my head (thank you Loratab). What happened to summer? What happened to going back to school in blue jeans and a jacket...it's 95 degrees here...hottest it's been all summer! I can't believe that it's just around the corner. We went to the open house at school and met the teacher and delivered our three Wal-Mart bags of supplies, and then went shopping for new tennis shoes..which of course is a rite of passage each year...have to have new shoes for school...oh and new pencils...and kids that refuse to go to sleep before 11 PM.
